Quick Tips for PTE Reading section

Here are a few quick tips that should be followed in the PTE Reading sections:

* Time Management - This is very important in the Reading section as the question will not automatically move to the next one. Do not spend more than 2 mins on each MCQ question and 2.5 mins on re-order and Fill in the blanks.

* In Multiple answers, if you are unsure about the second answer, leave it, don’t attempt it, as there is negative marking in it. If you are sure about 1 answer, attempt it and double check the answer.

* Read QUESTION properly.

* Never spend too much time on paragraphs/passages. Read them only ONCE and follow the technique of skimming, scanning and finding synonyms.

* Recall grammar rules and Collocation words, while attempting the fill in the blanks questions.

* Build your vocabulary words by practicing them on a daily basis til your exam.
